Diplomacy is our best offense and defense for the nation. Crystal Bergfield’s administration will employ strategic partnerships through understanding and with the values of innovation and responsibility to our country and the world. We will promote cross-generational, diverse team formation to ensure both the wisdom of experience and the innovation of youth are a part of diplomatic affairs. With 293 countries in the world for us to maintain relationships and solve world problems, it’s time we stop giving away diplomatic positions to donors and encourage healthy competition of our most talented and understanding Americans. When we understand that our diplomats represent our country and their representation can boost our country’s prosperity and ability to collaborate and grow, we will not hesitate to put our resources toward a healthy and responsible Department of State. Scouting, education, training, and family support are all a part of creating an equitable foundation for world relations.
